This Privacy Policy explains how Tickle – Personality Tests handles your information. We designed the app to work without accounts and without advertising, and we try to keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.

Information We Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not knowingly collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.

The app does store a small amount of test progress information so it can show your saved results and let you revisit them later:

Date and time completed

This progress is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData storage. If you have iCloud enabled, that data may also sync through Apple’s CloudKit services across your devices signed in to the same Apple ID.

How We Use Information

The information we collect is used only to:

Save and display your completed test results
Sync saved progress through iCloud when available
Process purchases and subscription entitlement through Apple’s StoreKit system
Check for app updates through Apple’s App Store lookup service
Respond to support requests

We do not sell your data, rent your data, or use your data for advertising.

No Login or Account Creation

The app does not require sign-up or login. Test answers are processed on your device, and completed results are saved locally so you can view them again later.

Data Retention

Saved test progress remains on your device until you reset it from Settings or delete the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, the same progress may also appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID.

Third-Party Services

We use the following Apple services:

Apple App Store and StoreKit for app distribution, purchases, restores, and subscription management
Apple CloudKit/iCloud for syncing saved test progress when available
Apple’s App Store lookup service for checking whether an update is available

These services are operated by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own privacy practices.

Subscriptions

Our app offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions managed through your Apple ID account. All billing, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing are handled directly by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in your device settings under Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. We may receive subscription status or transaction information from Apple so we can unlock the paid features you purchased.

Sharing and Exporting

If you choose to share a result or export a PDF report, the content you select is sent only to the destination you choose. We do not upload shared reports to our servers.

Support Requests

If you contact us by email or through support links, we will receive the information you choose to send us, such as your message and any details you include.

Children’s Privacy

The app is designed for general audiences and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

By using the app, you consent to this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the app or App Store listing. Please review it periodically.
