Support

If you need help with QuickReads, you are in the right place. We are here to help you get the most out of your reading experience and resolve issues as smoothly as possible.

What QuickReads Offers

QuickReads helps you get key ideas from nonfiction books in minutes instead of hours. The app currently includes a curated library of book summaries across Business, Finance, Personal Development, Philosophy, Productivity, Psychology, and Self-Help. You can browse the home feed, search by title or author, save books for later, share books, choose a reading goal during onboarding, turn on daily reminders, and restore saved books from iCloud backups. Some books are free to read, while the full library is available with QuickReads Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does onboarding work?
A: When you first get started, QuickReads asks what you want to improve, suggests books based on that goal, lets you save a few to begin with, and optionally helps you turn on daily reading reminders. Current goal paths include building discipline, growing income, thinking clearly, leading better, improving relationships, and starting a business.

Q: Which books are free and which require Pro?
A: QuickReads includes a small set of free books and a larger Pro library. If a book is included in your current access level, tapping Start Reading opens the full summary. If it is a Pro book and you do not have access yet, QuickReads will show the Pro screen.

Q: I am not able to open a summary. What should I do?
A: Make sure you are using the latest version of QuickReads and try reopening the app. If the book requires Pro access, QuickReads should show the Pro screen instead of the full summary. If a summary still does not open correctly, contact us with the book title and a screenshot if possible.

Q: How do I search for a book?
A: Open the Search tab and search by book title or author name. Matching results will appear as you type.

Q: How do I save a book summary for later?
A: Open a book and tap the bookmark icon to save it. Your saved books will appear in the Saved tab so you can return to them quickly.

Q: How do I remove a saved book?
A: Open the book again and tap the bookmark icon one more time to remove it from Saved.

Q: My saved books changed or disappeared. What should I do?
A: First, check Settings to see whether a recent backup is available. QuickReads creates automatic backups of saved books in iCloud, and you can restore from one if needed. If your saved books still look wrong after that, contact us with a short description of what changed.

Q: Does QuickReads back up my saved books?
A: Yes. QuickReads automatically creates backups of your saved books in your iCloud container when saved-book changes are written successfully. The app keeps recent daily backups and a smaller set of monthly backups. If you do not see any backups yet, save a book first and check again later.

Q: How do I restore saved books from a backup?
A: Open Settings, go to Restore from backup, and choose the backup you want. Restoring will replace your current saved books with the selected backup.

Q: Can I turn reading reminders on or off?
A: Yes. During onboarding, you can choose whether to enable daily reminders. QuickReads also tailors reminder timing around the reading window you selected, such as Morning, Lunch Break, Evening, or Before Bed.

Q: Why am I not receiving reading reminders?
A: Make sure notifications are allowed for QuickReads in iOS Settings. If reminders are disabled at the system level, QuickReads cannot schedule them. If notifications are already enabled and reminders still are not arriving, contact us with your iOS version and app version.

Q: How do I share a book?
A: Open a book and tap the share button in the top-right corner. QuickReads prepares share content for that book and then opens the iOS share sheet.

Q: What does QuickReads Pro include?
A: QuickReads Pro unlocks the full summary library beyond the free selection, so you can keep reading without being limited to the free titles.

Q: What subscription plans are available?
A: QuickReads currently offers weekly and annual Pro options through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Availability and pricing are shown in the app based on your App Store region.

Q: How do I restore a previous purchase?
A: Open the QuickReads Pro screen and use the restore option there. If Apple finds an eligible existing subscription for your Apple ID, your access should return automatically. If it does not update, reopen the app and try again after a moment.

Q: I found a typo or incorrect information in a summary. How can I report it?
A: Please email [email protected] with the book title, the section where you noticed the issue, and a short note explaining what seems incorrect.

Q: Can I suggest a new book or feature?
A: Yes. We would love to hear your suggestions. Send the book title, author, or feature idea to [email protected].

Q: Do I need an account to use QuickReads?
A: No. QuickReads does not require account creation to browse and read summaries.
