This Privacy Policy explains how Speak Nagamese handles your information. We aim to keep the app simple, privacy-conscious, and transparent about what data is and is not collected.

Information We Collect

Speak Nagamese does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal details such as your name, phone number, or mailing address in order to use the app.

Depending on how you use the app and your device settings, we may process limited technical and event-related information, such as:

App event information, such as first install/first launch and onboarding completion
Device and system details, such as device model, operating system version, interface style, language/locale settings, timezone, and connection type
App version, build number, and the onboarding starting phrase set selected in the app
An app-specific device identifier generated by the app and stored on your device
Diagnostics or crash information that may be made available through Apple services if you have enabled those settings on your device

We do not ask for your name or personal contact details in order to use the app. The information above is used for limited internal event alerts, operational monitoring, and, where applicable, Apple-provided diagnostics settings you control on your device.

How Your Data Is Used

The information we collect is used only to:

Keep Speak Nagamese stable, secure, and functioning as expected
Send internal operational alerts to Moon Mermaids Media when a new install is first launched or when onboarding is completed
Review technical context around those events to support operational monitoring and troubleshooting

We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or share it with third-party advertisers.

On-Device Learning Data

Any app progress, saved learning state, preferences, bookmarked phrases, or recently viewed content is intended to remain on your device unless your device or Apple account backs it up through Apple services that you control. However, certain event and diagnostic details described in this policy may be transmitted from the app to our server for internal notification and operational monitoring.

If you choose to use sharing features in the app, Speak Nagamese may temporarily generate image files on your device in order to prepare content for the system share sheet and export flow.

Internal Email Alerts

Speak Nagamese includes an internal event-alert system that notifies Moon Mermaids Media by email when certain app events occur, such as:

The first successful launch after installation
Completion of onboarding, including the starting phrase set chosen by the user

These alerts may include technical and contextual details such as app version, build number, device model, app-specific device identifier, iOS version, interface style, locale, timezone, connection type, event timestamp, and onboarding selection.

These alerts are used only for internal operational awareness, product improvement, and troubleshooting. They are not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Data Retention

Because Speak Nagamese is designed to work without a user account, we generally do not maintain a personal profile about you. Data stored locally in the app remains on your device until you delete the app, clear the app’s data through available system controls, or remove the content yourself. Event-alert emails and server logs generated by our internal notification system may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for operations, debugging, security review, and record-keeping.

Third-Party Services

Speak Nagamese may rely on third-party services and infrastructure, including:

The Apple App Store for app distribution, updates, and review features
Apple analytics, diagnostics, or crash-reporting tools if enabled on your device
Moon Mermaids Media web infrastructure used to receive app event alerts and send internal notification emails

Apple services operate under Apple’s own privacy terms and settings, which you can manage through your Apple device and account preferences. Our own web infrastructure processes the limited event data described in this policy in order to deliver internal alerts and maintain supporting logs.

Children’s Privacy

Speak Nagamese is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us so we can review and address it.

Your Choices

You can stop using the app at any time, uninstall it from your device, and manage analytics, diagnostics, permissions, and backup settings through your Apple device settings. Because internal event alerts are tied to core app events, they may be sent when those events occur while you use the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app improvements, legal requirements, or operational changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
