Backups & Restore
NoteCaller automatically backs up your data to iCloud Drive to help prevent data loss. Backups are created automatically when you add, edit, or delete a contact, and when the app moves to the background.
Daily backups are kept for the last 7 days, and monthly backups are kept for the last 3 months.
Q: How do I restore my data?
A: Open Settings in NoteCaller, browse available backups, and restore from a selected point in time.
Q: Do I need to enable anything for backups?
A: Ensure iCloud Drive is enabled for NoteCaller in your iPhone’s Settings.
Contacts & Details
Q: What information can I save for a contact?
A: You can store name, phone number, notes, email, address, and birthday. Each profile also shows when it was created and last updated.
Q: Can I edit or delete a saved contact?
A: Yes, open the contact and use Edit to update details or Delete to remove it.
Q: How do I copy a phone number?
A: Long-press directly on the phone number to copy it instantly.
Search & Sharing
Q: How does search work?
A: Use the Search view to quickly find contacts by name, phone number, or notes.
Q: How do I share a contact?
A: Open a contact and tap Share to send it via WhatsApp or any other app using the native share sheet.
Updates
Q: How do I know if a new version is available?
A: NoteCaller shows an update indicator in Settings when a new version is available on the App Store.
Troubleshooting
Q: The app isn’t saving my contact or note. What should I do?
A: Make sure you’re on the latest version. If the issue continues, email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a screenshot of what you’re seeing.
Q: I found a bug or something’s not working. How do I report it?
